27 JUNE 2022 – The Training of Measuring Instrument Handling was implemented on 27 June 2022 (Monday). The training was organized by FRIM PCS which was attended by a total of 63 participants consisting of 33 Furniture Companies and the FRIM PCS Auditor Team.
The training objectives are as follows:
i. Identify the types and methods of using measurement tool which are used in the furniture manufacturing process
ii. Disclose to the participants the need for calibration (calibration) and
method of verification of measurement tools; and
iii. Method of documenting the operation of measurement tools.
The trainer speaker was Zairul Amin Rabidin and was assisted by Tanjong
Abdullah, Wood Drying Laboratory, Forest Product Division.
